I was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (later Serbia) where I was a practicing ceramic artist for nearly 10 years. After completing my studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Arts, Belgrade, I moved to England in 2008. Seeking the broader commitment to my craft and its historic precedents I completed the course for Conservation and Restoration of Ceramics, at West Dean College, Chichester.

For the past 15 years I have been living in Brighton and working as a ceramics conservator in private practice and teaching ceramics conservation at West Dean College. I still enjoy making in my free time. I embrace unpredictable elements of firing which I find liberating and a complementary contrast to the very controlled process of conservation/restoration.
