Teaching
I enjoy passing down the skills I acquired both as a potter/ceramic artist and as a conservator.
Currently I am delivering taster workshops ‘Introduction to Ceramics Conservation’ for West Dean College at their London campus and Taster classes in wheel throwing for the Artful Clayhouse Pottery studio in West London.
My previous teaching experience includes
2025 Hand building workshop and restoration techniques at the Summerstone Gallery and Pottery Club, Otaki, New Zealand
2018-2025 Subject Tutor at the Department for Conservation of Ceramics and Related Materials, West Dean College, Chichester.
2020-2023 Visiting lecturer at the Department for Restoration of Ceramics, University of Dubrovnik, Croatia. You can read about my latest visit to Dubrovnik here
I have also lead masterclasses on handling, ceramics technology and manufacturing techniques for other professionals in the field while working in my previous workplace (Sarah Peek Conservation).
I have gained Postgraduate Certificate and Fellowship in Higher Education in 2023.
Offering Pottery session @ The Conservation Volunteers- Growing communities project, October 2020
